PURSUE, DELAY, SEEK HELP
It is a well-known fact that South Africa is, and has been for a while faced with the ever-increasing challenges of unemployment, crime and poverty, which are all inextricably interlinked. It is also a fact that even though government increases expenditure on social grants every fiscal year, the gap between the rich and the poor keeps growing, while the state of education amongst the poor keeps deteriorating.
It was in light of these challenges that iThink Impact was born, with a view to empowering individuals, no matter how hopeless their social background may be, to take charge of their own destiny and realize that consistently making constructive choices will not only add meaning to and change one’s life for the better, but that with more of us being aware of and making such choices, a greater impact on society as a whole is inevitable.
It is our belief that the role of government should be to provide mechanisms that will support individuals to realize their potential and contribute to the growth of the South African economy, and not to continuously support complete dependency on state resources, as this hinders growth instead of promoting it.
